Description | This project entails the construction of a 6-lane greenfield Varanasi - Ranchi - Kolkata highway from junction with Chandauli - Chainpur road near Khainti village to junction with Bhabhua - Adhaura road near Palka village in the state of Bihar, India, with total length of 27 km. It is implemented under Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) mode. The construction period is 2 years, while the operational is 15 years. Total investment stands at $106.94 million, of which the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) pays 40% of the costs ($42.78 million) and the rest ($64.16 million) is provided by the sponsor. Project SPV is Varanasi Kolkata Highway Package 2 Private Limited, fully owned by PNC Infratech Limited.
