Description | This project entails the construction of a 6-lane greenfield Varanasi - Ranchi - Kolkata highway from junction with Bhabhua Adhaura road in Bhairopur village to Konki village in the state of Bihar, India, with total length of 36 km. It is implemented under Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) mode. The construction period is 2 years, while the operational is 15 years. Total investment stands at $133.64 million, of which the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) pays 40% of the costs ($53.46 million) and the rest ($80.18 million) is provided by the sponsor. Project SPV is Varanasi Kolkata Highway Package 3 Private Limited, fully owned by PNC Infratech Limited.
