This project entails the concession of Varanasi - Aurangabad tollway with length of 192.4 km in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, India. The development of this section is developed on a DBFOT (design, build, finance, operate and transfer) toll basis for a period of 30 years with contruction period of 30 months. The total cost of the deal stands at $350 million, of which $244.56 million loan is secured by the following banks: Union Bank of India ($35,34 million), Punjab National Bank ($64,79 million), Central Bank Of India ($22.88 million), Bank of Baroda ($20.53 million), Indian Overseas Bank ($22.87 million), State Bank of India ($22.88 million), Bank of India ($13.68 million) and India Infrastructure Finance Company with $41.59 million contribution. Project company is Varanasi Aurangabad NH-2 Tollway, sponsored by the Spain-based Roadis.
