Varginha - Furnas highway lot concession

This project involves the rehabilitation and modernization of the Varginha - Furnas highway section, located in Minas Gerais state, Brazil. The total length of this highway section is 433km and crosses 22 municipalities in the Minas Gerais state. The Joint venture for this initiative is the Infraestrutura MG consortium, composed of Equipav and Perfin. Project works include construction of 8km of duplication roads between Varginha and Três Corações, construction of 30km of additional lanes and 236km of shoulders. The Infraestrutura MG consortium won a 30-year concession and will invest $518m (R$ 2.5bn) during that period.
