Economic/Social Impact of the Project VBC Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited [VFCL] proposes to establish an integrated fertilizer and chemical complex at Survey No.93, Jayanthipuram, Jaggayyapet Mandal, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh comprising of the following units, based on Natural Gas as feed stock. 1. Ammonia Plant in two streams of 2200 MTPD capacity each 2. Urea Plant in two streams of 3850 MTPD capacity each 3. Nitric Acid Plant of 800 TPD capacity 4. Ammonium Nitrate Plant of 1000 MTPD capacity Milestones a. An MoU entered with Govt. of Andhra Pradesh on 13th Jan. 2012. b. The process of handing over of land is in the final stages. c. Government of Andhra Pradesh has already issued G.O. dated 10.5.2013 pertaining to the state incentives. d. VFCL has already signed an Agreement with GAIL [India] Ltd., for the supply of 5 MMSCMD of Natural Gas. e. Terms of reference [ToR] have already been approved by the Ministry of Environment & Forests. f. VFCL is in the process of finalizing technology licenses from global engineering companies. g. VFCL is in the final stages of entering into collaboration with prestigious Business Houses of G.C.C markets for Foreign Direct Investment [FDI].
