Economic/Social Impact of the Project The Company, Velankani Information Systems Limited has set-up a 5-star Deluxe Hotel under the brand name Hotel Crowne Plaza in Electronics City, Bangalore in 2007. This hotel has 282 rooms and managed by IHG. The hotel is setting-up a Micro Brewery with a project cost of Rs. 1 Crore within the hotel premises. The application for Micro Brewery license was submitted to the Deputy Commissioner, Excise, Bangalore Urban district, Bangalore on 9/1/2015 and re-submitted again on 15/2/2016. and 18/7/2016. These re-submissions were for submitting latest financials at each point of time because of delay in approvals. We understand that our application is with the Commissioner of Excise, Karnataka Govt. The license is still awaited even though all queries have been responded. We have also submitted that, Electronics City comes under ELCITA [Electronics City Industrial Township Authority] which was set-up in March 2013 by Govt of Karnataka. All approvals are being given by ELCITA only effective March 2013.
