Description | The project entails the construction of the 2MW Biogas power plant , located in Venado Tuerto, Argentina. The plant will utilise up to 60,000 tonnes per annum of agricultural industry by-products and other plant/animal biomass to produce biogas which will be used to generate 2 MW of electricity under the Plan RenovAr renewable energy development programme. Total investment stands at USD9 million. Sponsors of the project is Seed Energy Group. The plant will have a 20-year tariff for the electricity fed into the grid. Financial close took place on 19th September, 2018. |
