Description | Ventilation systems at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), Beach Grove Manor, Wedgewood Manor, and Souris Hospital are nearing, or are at the end of their life cycle. QEH will see Air Handling Units (AHU) # 8 and # 18 replaced. Full ventilation system upgrades are planned for Beach Grove Manor, Wedgewood Manor, and Souris Hospital. These projects will protect long-term building assets in the Province of PEI and ensures these Health facilities will continue to operate safely with continued fresh air supply while also improving energy efficiency. These projects further promote the COVID-19 economic recovery plan by spurring construction across the Province of PEI. |
