Description | Statkraft Brasil started the construction of the 519-MW Ventos de Santa Eugênia Wind Complex, located in Uibaí, Bahia (BA). The complex will feature 14 wind farms formed by a total 91 turbines of 5.7 MW each erected across sites in the state of Bahia. German wind turbine maker Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1) is the equipment manufacturer. Total project cost is roughly BRL 2.5 billion (USD 434.3m). Financial Closure was achieved in March 2021. Ventos de Santa Eugenia will have its first turbines generating power in 2022, while full completion of the project is set for 2023.
