Description

The project entails the construction of a 124MW solar plant on Verila Mountain in western Bulgaria, east of the town of Dupnitsa. The grid-connected solar plant is situated at an altitude between 700 and 1,000 meters above sea level and will raise Bulgaria's overall solar power generation capacity by 12% from the current 1,033 MW once operational. Sponsor of the project is Eurohold and Sunotec is tasked with engineering, project management, procurement and construction of the facility, which consists of 220,230 modules. The debt to equity ratio for the project investment is 98:2.
