Description	The Upper Salinas – Las Tablas Resource Conservation District (USLTRCD) is partnering with Mesa Vineyard Management (MVM) to implement conservation practices (i.e. vermicompost and vermicompost extract) on a vineyard in northern San Luis Obispo County. The goal of the project is to develop a better understanding of the outcomes of different soil health conservation practices based on feasibility, cost, and ecological benefits. The project will include a total of four (4) test plots with 8 vineyard acres of healthy soil conservation practices applied. The project will lead to an increase of soil organic matter, improved soil water retention, and carbon sequestration.
