Vertical Aerospace Manufacturing Facilities

planned

Vertical Aerospace is establishing its initial manufacturing sites to support certification and early production of its VX4 electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. The project includes an aircraft assembly facility at the expanded Cotswold Airport site with capacity to produce 25+ VX4 aircraft annually, and a battery production facility at the expanded Avonmouth site, tripling battery production capacity. These facilities are located alongside existing operations to reduce integration risk and enable efficient ramp-up from prototype through certification and initial production aircraft. The company plans to select sites for full-rate production and battery facilities by 2026.
