Victoria Park - Moncton

Victoria Park is one of the main formal civic square parks in the City of Moncton. It has a traditional English layout and formal gardens, and has long been a popular location for wedding and graduation photographs. The park with it’s typical “union jack” style layout has pathways that are often used for people to flow through the space as they use this active transportation link to get through the neighborhood. This project consists of upgrading walkways and furnishings in the Park. The gravel and asphalt pathways require resurfacing to keep them in service. This project would see resurfacing of the pathways as well as the replacement of trellis that was removed due to structural failure. The work includes installation of approximately 7 storm water inlet structures and reconstruction and resurfacing of approximately 690 meters of asphalt trail.
