Vientiane bus rapid transit PPP project

The project includes development of bus rapid transit (BRT) in Vientiane, Laos. The scope of works involves implementation of 11 kilometers of dedicated bus lanes and 24 enclosed stations. The BRT route will have signal lights at key intersections and a central traffic control center, as well as a national vehicle registration system. Over 90 climate-friendly buses will provide services for the BRT route.The project aims to benefit about 750,000 inhabitants of the city as well as ease the traffic and pollution.
