Description | The Vietnam Block 11-2 project is operated by KNOC and involves exploration, development, and production activities in Block 11-2, located approximately 320 kilometers offshore Vietnam. KNOC holds a 39.75% working interest in the block, with the remaining interest held by PetroVietnam Exploration and Production Company (PVEP). The project began in May 1992 with the signing of a production sharing contract (PSC) and has since achieved significant milestones, including the discovery of gas reserves, the signing of a gas sales agreement with PetroVietnam, and the start of gas production in December 2006. The project is expected to continue producing gas until June 2023. |
