Description | A National Highway bridge project in the capital region nearing completion. The bridge is part of the Vijayawada West Bypass, spanning 3.1 km and linking NH-65 and NH-16 without cutting through Vijayawada city. It begins near Venkatapalem close to Undavalli and ends at Gollapudi on the city’s outskirts. The structure will support transport of construction materials from Krishna district to the capital area. The project was stalled before 2019 due to delays in finalising designs and was handed over to NHAI by the YSRCP government. |
