Description | Villa Rica Trailhead: City of Villa Rica, Carroll County, GA. Fullerville Park, located at the intersection of Ball Park Rd and Rockmart Rd. Fullerville Park is an existing active park. On the western portion of the property is a wooded area that sits adjacent to abandoned railroad ROW. It is the desire of the City to install a linear trail system along this ROW. The improvements will include a parking lot which will be an extension of Ball Park Dr, which provides access to the park. Approximately 55 parking spaces will be provided. Amenities included within this trailhead are concrete sidewalks to provide connection to the future trail and a pedestrian pavilion. The total length of this project is 850 LF. Vehicular access to the trailhead parking will be provided by a two lane asphalt local road with no curb and gutter (840 LF). An 8' concrete sidewalk is proposed along the parking lot (950 LF). |
