Description
Description | The Village of Denzil - Water Treatment Plant Upgrades and Sewer System Renewal project will improve disinfection of potable water to comply with current disinfection requirements and access the sanitary collection system for future work to mitigate service failures and sewage backups and/or spills. The existing water treatment plant will be upgraded with new filters and UV sterilization and a new well dug to address current issues with insufficient disinfection and supply capacity. The sanitary sewers will be inspected using CCTV and defects will be analyzed for severity. Prioritized lines will be identified for future rehabilitation using cured-in-place pipe technology. The Project will support increased access to potable water and plan for increased capacity to treat and/or manage wastewater and/or stormwater. |
