Description | Upgrading the arena function room to be able to provide a safe environment for community groups to continue to operate during and after COVID. The function room has seen water damage and has had no upgrades for over 50 years. Much of the surfaces are porous and proper sanitizing is impossible. At this time the main users of the space are pre-school children. There is a need to provide separate washroom facilities to maintain the higher level of sanitation required. The space is not easily sanitized and the age of the room is beginning to show signs of serious deterioration. By renovating the space it will provide a healthy clean environment for pre-school children and other groups that make use of the space. COVID has completely impaired the ability to operate this function room. |
