It will provide a much needed gathering place in town for all ages in both seasons, and because of the way it is being rebuilt (i.e. concrete flooring) will offer opportunities for alternate activities in the summertime like pickleball, farmers market, movie nights, etc. The new 11,100 sq ft building will include a kitchen and lounge, accessible washrooms and two sheets of curling ice. All ages will be able to curl, socialize, have bonspiels and be spectators. |
