Description | The main objective of the project is to provide potable water storage and comply with provincial drinking water regulations (Water Security Agency). The project scope involves the construction of a new back up reservoir well 160 feet, and construction of a new observation well of 150 feet and to the existing well retrofit to a second observation well (with the capacity to be the backup well). The output of the project is to provide long term increase access to drinking water. The drinking water will meet relevant provincial (Sask) standards regarding water quality. This project will provide a long term asset to the village for safe water and a water well that is safe and will meet the needs of the village community future needs of safe reliable water source. 3 Wells that are included in the projects are: - Back up well (new project), can be used to observe aquifer when not in production use - 1 (new project) Observation Well - Retrofit current well into observation well when not in use. |
