Village Verve! Women at the Forefront of Climate and Development

ongoing

"The project ""Village Verve - Women at the Forefront of Climate and Development"" aims to empower rural women to address the challenges posed by climate change in their communities. Recognizing the pivotal role of women in agriculture and environmental stewardship, the project focuses on raising awareness, providing education and training, and fostering meaningful participation in decision-making processes. Advocating for gender-responsive climate action and promoting community-led initiatives, the project seeks to build resilience and promote sustainable solutions in rural areas across Europe. Through collaboration and cross-cultural exchange, the project aims to address gender inequalities and strengthen the capacity of rural women to adapt to climate change, ultimately contributing to more inclusive and effective climate policies and programs."
