Villages Project Main Street Feasibility Study

The Dover-Foxcroft Select Board accepted the Villages Project Main Street Feasibility Study to move the project forward. The project aims to improve safety and create a distinct look and feel along East and West Main Streets from Essex Street to about Dunkin, allowing bicycles, pedestrians, and vehicles to safely share the downtown area. The study area covers parts of West Main Street, North Street, East Main Street, Essex Street, and South Street. The project is part of the Maine Department of Transportation's Village Partnership Initiative to revitalize rural economies and improve quality of life.
