The drive aims to restore the lake's original capacity for the Villivakkam eco park project. GCC plans to expand the 27.5-acre water spread area by adding an 8.5-acre tertiary pond at the site of the cleared encroachments. The pond, costing 911 crore, will enhance water catchment. Once complete, the eco-park will feature a glass model suspension bridge. |
