This project involves the construction of the Villonaco III wind power plant, located in Loja province, Ecuador. The sponsor for this initiative is the Spanish ACS via the Cobra Zero-E Consortium. The sponsor signed a 25 year concession which was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The planned generated capacity of the Villonaco III wind power plant is 110MW. Moreover, this initiative will supply the equivalent of 30 thousand homes. The total project cost is $181m.
