Description | Vinh Son - Song Hinh Hydropower JSC was planning the development of the 30 MW Vinh Son 3 Hydropower plant, Con river, Vinh Son commune, Binh Dinh province. The rpoject was expected to generate 112,266 MWh annually, to be supplied to the grid. The EIA was approved in August 2008. The Investment license was awarded in February 2009. The financial commitment was signed in August 2010. The construction started in June 2011 and commissioning was expected for January 2013. Project life was 40 years. Construction was to last 3 years. Electricity tariff was VND 763 per kWh ($0.0366 per kWh). Load factor was 43.2%. Debt to equity ratio was 70/30, WACC was 12.22%, debt cost was 7.53%.
