Description | Virgin Australia is upgrading its domestic airport check-in experience and mobile app to reduce passenger check-in time by up to 50% across 10 domestic airports. The project includes transitioning self-serve check-in kiosks to new bag tag printers only, removing options to check in, change seats, or add Velocity numbers via kiosks. The new bag tag printers offer a one-step automated bag drop with advanced camera and barcode recognition. A dedicated priority bag drop area will be introduced for Velocity Gold, Platinum, and Platinum Plus members and Business Class guests at participating airports. |
