Virginia Community Splash Pad Project

planned

The Virginia Community Foundation has established the Virginia Splash Pad Fund to support the community splash pad project in Virginia. The project includes a splash pad with various water features, an open-air market/pavilion, playground, expanded parking, food truck areas, shade structures, canoe/kayak rental, and an ADA accessible dock. The splash pad aims to provide a free, safe, and accessible recreational space, especially benefiting children, seniors, and low-income families, while also serving as a public cooling space during extreme heat events.
