Description | Economic/Social Impact of the Project 1,260 MW coal Based Thermal Power Project, comprising of Unit 1 [600MW, sub-critical] and Unit 2 [600MW sub-critical, reconfigured to 660MW super-critical technology for higher priority for allotment of coal linkage] There is a delay in development of Fatehpur East coal block on account of delay in processing of the forest diversion proposal, conduct of public hearing and processing of the previous approval for mining lease at the State level. Hence,the project COD has be re-aligned so that coal produced from Fatehpur East Coal block is available for captive use in the project. Update as of 01.05.2020- Under construction and uncertain to come. |
