Description | In coordination with the City of Daly City, the project will divert stormwater from the Vista Grande Watershed to South Lake Merced and better manage stormwater transport to the Pacific Ocean to increase Lake levels, improve stormwater quality, and help restore the Lake Merced Drainage Basin’s natural hydrology. Current Schedule Project California Environmental Quality Act Review (EIR/EIS) was completed in September 2016, 100% Design was completed in December 2020. Project team is currently working on permitting and project funding. Bid and Award is currently anticipated to commence in late 2022, with construction commencing in Summer 2023. |
