IFC's vitae employability platform supports tertiary education institutions to better match their educational offer to the needs of the labor market. Vitae offers employability assessment of higher education institutions to identify current practices employed to enable students to successfully transition to the labor market. Vitae benchmarks employability-linked operations to global good practices as well as peer institutions and provides recommendations for improvement, tailored to the level of maturity of the client. Vitae also supports implementation of recommendations through workshops and practitioner-led coaching sessions. Examples of support include developing employability strategy and collecting data to monitor employability KPIs, improving career services, improving linkages to employers, and supporting growth through development of programs that are well-aligned to labor market needs.
