It aims to reinforce the power grid, support Victoria's energy transition, increase bidirectional transfer capacity by up to 3.5GW, and unlock renewable energy generation in both states. Iberdrola Australia will collaborate with VicGrid to design and develop the project and subsequently submit a proposal to build, own, and operate the transmission line, with a target construction completion date of 2030. |
