Vocational Training Financing Fund (Challenge Fund)

The Kosovo Challenge Fund (KCF) strengthens the employability of young people and improves the competitiveness of companies in Kosovo. It is a unique instrument for the needs-based financing of cooperative vocational training programs with a high proportion of practical training in companies. Consortia consisting of public and/or private vocational schools and at least two companies can apply for KCF funding in a competition to finance modern training programs in the participating vocational training institutions. The project is open to all sectors and promotes gender equality, green skills and regional integration. The funding primarily goes to relevant equipment and advisory services. In addition, regional exchanges, political dialogue and learning formats are organized to increase the visibility and know-how of work-based training in Kosovo.
