Description

Description

"The ""Voices of Europe"" project is designed to engage students from Liceo Montale in Pontedera with the knowledge of the European Union, its values, and its functioning through an innovative and participatory educational journey. The initiative aims to raise awareness among young people about the significance of European citizenship, promoting a deep understanding of the principles of democracy, solidarity, sustainability, and inclusion that underpin the EU. The core of the project is the creation of an original podcast, conceived and produced by the students. To achieve this goal, the participants will be involved in a training process that includes: Study and in-depth exploration: interactive lessons on the history, institutions, and policies of the EU, with a focus on citizens' rights and opportunities. Interviews and reports: students will conduct interviews with experts, institutional representatives, European citizens, and young people who have participated in programs like Erasmus+. These meetings will provide a direct and concrete view of the EU’s impact on everyday life. Multimedia production workshops: students will learn creative writing, storytelling, and audio production techniques, developing digital and communication skills that will be valuable for their future. The podcast, structured into thematic episodes, will be distributed on online platforms and shared with the entire school community, creating a product that combines knowledge, creativity, and active participation. ""Voices of Europe"" will not only help students discover the European Union but also foster a sense of belonging and responsibility towards the common European project."
