Description | Voidcast is a game in the Metroidvania genre with a strong narrative and visual identity that combines Greek and Roman mythology and visuals with sci-fi and Lovecraftian cosmic horror themes. We are applying funds from Creative Europe to be able to focus on developing the narrative before going into production. The expected result after the project period is to have a strong inspiring and interesting story, and the tools to implement it. The output will be a detailed story and plan to implement it with quests and objectives for the game. And a set of tools to implement the designers vision. This will be a blockout level generating tool with the support for simple automatic set-dressing of some parts. A quest and objective system that gives the designers a visual tool to implement their vision. And last but not least a plan for narrative visual elements and 'Beautiful-rooms' created to support the narrative, for use as a template when we go into production. |
