VSI Transnational Economy Program 2021 — Department of Mayotte

The 2021 programme consists of an international solidarity volunteer mission for economic cooperation between Mayotte and Mauritius. The action takes place in Mauritius. The VSI is recruited for a period of 12 months. According to the statutes of international solidarity volunteers, the initial volunteering contract may be extended according to the needs and wishes of the VSI. The operation aims to strengthen the capacities of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Indian Ocean/Cap Business Indian Ocean in Mauritius, host structure of the VSI. In particular, it aims to develop exchanges between organisations representing the private sector, companies, mainly SMEs with an interest in the development of business partnerships in the Indian Ocean and Mayotte area. Finally, it allows the volunteer to strengthen his/her skills and gain valuable professional experience at international level.
