VSI Transnational Solidarity Program — Non-Economic 2018

Closed

This 2018 action programme consists of four international solidarity volunteering missions in the fields of communication, culture, socio-education and local development. The actions will take place in Tanzania, Kenya and Mozambique on the basis of an initial 12-month volunteering contract. The actions aim to strengthen the capacities of reception facilities through project-specific technical support, exchanges of skills and know-how. In particular, they aim to develop exchanges between the partners of different countries in the Indian Ocean and Reunion Island. In addition to their contractually defined technical responsibilities, volunteers will have a special mission to develop lasting and privileged relations between their country or region of employment and Reunion and, to gain first professional experience for the purpose of integration into the labour market at the end of their contract.
