Description
Description | "Graduates of the Střední odborná škola podnikání a obchodu, spol. s.r.o. (SOŠPO), who will participate in this project, they acquire basic knowledge of international business and international relations. The subjects in which the Jean Monnet project ""Teaching initiatives about the EU"" will provide pupils with the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of external monetary and trade policy. They will learn basic knowledge in international trading and drawing up purchase contracts. Pupils will understand the issue of EU structural funds and the drawing of subsidies. Learn to identify a project, analyze and set project goals, manage, maximize, monitor and control the project cycle. They acquire the ability to navigate EU documents and directives with a focus on project creation, European primary and secondary law and the functioning of the Union's basic bodies. They will become familiar with the labor market in EU member states and the requirements placed on workers in individual EU countries, including work restrictions. In addition to economics and accounting, emphasis is placed on marketing so that students understand its functioning in company management and in relation to customers in the European market system. The project is deliberately focused on European citizenship, the opportunities that EU membership brings to young people (various types of mobility – studies, work, volunteering). A large part of the project will deal with the history and geography of the EU. All the above information is new, or updated in accordance with the new school curriculum, or new framework educational programs of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. The project also includes a visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg or Luxembourg, the European Commission in Brussels and the European Central Bank in Frankfurt am Main, so that students have the opportunity to gain theory and practice with as many students as possible." |
