Description | The Waddi Wind Farm is a 108MW renewable energy project located in the West Australian wheat belt, 150km north of Perth. It is the first wind farm in Western Australia to reach a Final Investment Decision in 2025. The project has strong financial backing, a 15-year supply contract with AGL, and planning approvals from local, state, and federal authorities. Construction is set to start early 2026 with a target commercial operation date in 2028. The project will power around 68,000 homes, create over 150 construction jobs, six permanent operational jobs, and provide over $3.9 million in community benefits over its lifetime. |
