It is the first wind project to reach financial close in Australia in 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and full operations expected by 2028. The project has received planning approvals from local, state, and federal authorities and secured a long-term off-take agreement with AGL Energy. The wind farm will use Vestas turbines and involve contract partners including Western Power, Decmil, and RJE. It is expected to create over 150 construction jobs and six permanent operational jobs, along with community benefit funding. |
