Wadi Holdings Company (SAE) (Wadi or the company) and its thirteen subsidiaries comprise a group of Egyptian companies which, has three core business activities. The first of these consists of poultry operations. The second core activity is the planting, cultivating, harvesting and processing of olives and other vegetables and fruits. The third core activities is the production of glass, poultry feed and other industrial products. Wadi is now implementing a two-year expansion and diversification investment program, which includes: (i) setting up a soybean crushing plant in Noubaria, Egypt to support its feed mill operations; (ii) expansion of table eggs production from 70 million to 650 million eggs per annum by 2012; (iii) construction of a mono-calcium phosphate (feed ingredient) plant; (iv) construction of a plant to assemble trailers; and (v) development of a fish production project.
