The project includes a 2.7 GW solar farm and a 6 GWh battery storage system covering approximately 3,400 hectares near Humpty Doo. The energy generated will support local industry and a future green hydrogen production hub with a planned 1 GW electrolyzer at Middle Arm. Construction could start in 2027, with an initial phase up to 900 MW, creating up to 900 jobs during construction. |
