Description | The project will improve active transportation by completing work to re-open the Beaver Bend Park trail in the Village of Warfield. Currently the trail is closed due to drainage and erosion problems. The trail connects the Montcalm subdivision and the Annable area of Warfield. A trail also provides a connection to the James L. Webster Elementary School and Lower Warfield area. The trail is currently closed and the works will ensure safe outdoor activity and commuting can occur. The project works include: - reconstruction of a rip-rap drainage channel; - site preparation and construction of the trail; - installation of signage and benches; - installation of fencing, bollards; and, - all related works. |
