Washington University 600-Bed Dorm Expansion

planned

Washington University in St. Louis plans to build two new student dormitories on its South 40 campus in Clayton, adding housing for approximately 600 undergraduate students. Each of the two residential buildings will accommodate about 300 students, primarily as four-story buildings with some portions rising to five stories. The new housing is intended for freshmen and sophomores, including apartment-style units for resident assistants. This expansion is part of the university's ongoing effort to modernize and expand on-campus housing to support student life and campus density.
