• The project includes a complete renovation of 12 washrooms in the Centre In the Square - a live theatre and performing arts centre located downtown Kitchener, Ontario. • The work will involve a complete renovation of 12 washrooms in 2,047 seat hall, which is the largest in Waterloo Region and the main venue for Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony performances. The project will include the replacement of 51 fixtures, plumbing, ventilation, electrical fixtures and interior finishes, as well as widening doors, the addition of automatic door operators, and improved accessibility features like grab bars. • The project will enable a better accessibility to the washrooms for more than 150,000 people per year from the Waterloo Region. The project will foster better access for Ontarians with disabilities. Additionally, the project will reduce the annual maintenance cost.
