Description

The aim of the Gradiska wastewater disposal project is the hygienically safe and environmentally friendly disposal and treatment of municipal wastewater in the town of Gradiska (project sponsor). Phase 1 of the project includes the rehabilitation and expansion of the combined and wastewater sewage system in the town area, the construction of a sewage treatment plant, and phase 2 urbanization measures for urban design. The total cost of the project is around EUR 14.9 million. This is to be financed by a Federal Development Fund grant of up to EUR 10,266,845, additional grant funds via a KfW mandate from SECO (Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs) of up to EUR 4.0 million, and a contribution from the town of Gradiska of around EUR 0.7 million. Up to around EUR 10.2 million of the Federal Development Fund funds are to be used for investments. Approximately EUR 500,000 of the SECO funds will be used to implement the accompanying measure, while the remaining SECO funds will go towards investments.
