Description | This project will include the planning stages and detailed design for an upgrade or expansion to the community’s sewage lagoon. Currently, the community is concerned that the sewage lagoon is not large enough to meet the current and future needs of the community. On several occasions, the operator has had to discharge the lagoon twice a year, rather than the best practice of once a year. The work may also include improvements to the sewage lagoon, such as purchasing a flow meter. Monitoring flow is required by Environment Canada regulations. The off-reserve benefits are improvements to the environment of the receiving water source. |
