Wastewater System Upgrades and Rehabilitation - Rural Municipality of Morell

The project consists of upgrades to the Morell wastewater system. The scope of the work on this project includes installing an ultraviolet (UV) disinfectant system and flow monitoring equipment, upgrades to cell 1 to address the overgrown interior berm slopes, dewatering in order to upgrade inlet and outlet structures in cell 1 as well as determine the amount of sludge in the cell and remove excess if necessary, upgrades to the lift station including backup power generation. The project aims to improve the operation of the system to acceptable levels for effluent quality as community grows.
