Description | Replace existing control panels at sewage lift station (SLS) 1 and 2 due to age of units and high failure rates and install flow meter to meet new regulations. The facility was built in 1995 and therefore, most of the equipment is beyond the serviceable life, and they would need to be replaced. A lot of the equipment is too old to find replacement parts or they are getting to a point that they will completely fail. The off-reserve benefit of the project is to ensure/improve the safety of operations and reduce the risk of environmental contamination of receiving water bodies near the community. |
