Water and Sanitary Sewer System West End Ph 6/Ph6A

The project consist of the installation of new water and sanitary sewer lines plus services , a sewage treatment plant and one lift station to service the west end of the Town of Lark Harbour. The scope of the project is to supply and install sanitary sewer, water main, force main , one lift station and one sewer treatment system plus associated work in the West End of the community. This project aims to a) collect sanitary sewer into a municipal system and delivery it to a sewage treatment system which will meet environmental requirements and thus eliminate private septic and adhoc sewer systems which are not up today’s standard and b) provide a municipal water system which will deliver potable water meeting the Canadian Drinking water guidelines to the residence in the area and thus eliminate private water systems which are also not up today’s standards. These systems will be operated and maintained by the town meeting all regulatory requirements. It will ensure proper O/M of water/sewer system and allow area to remediate from onsite sewer loadings.
